I ALWAYS recommend you to simplify the inequality before graph it
2x > 6
x> 6/2
x > 3
Graph:
You sketch the line x = 3 (vertical line) by drawing the DOTTED line (because the ">" has no equal sign involved)
Since x is greater than 3, you should highlight the RIGHT side of the line where the solution set is.
