Question 419163: I am not sure if I am entering this into my graphing calculator correctly. I entered it as y=-x^3/x^2-2 and then as y=x^3/(x^2-2). I'm getting two different graphs and am not sure which one is right. I need to test this equation for symmetry and answer if it is:
a) symmetric with respect to the x-axis
b) symmetric with respect to the y-axis
c) symmetric with respect to the origin

Your first option does not make sense as it would be graph of a line. 2nd one looks right. the graph is of a negative line superimposed by a quadratic curve. It is symetric on origin but having a negtive correlation.
