Graph the equation using a dashed line.

Since the graph does NOT go through the origin, use the point (0,0) as a test point.

Substitute the coordinates of your test point into the original inequality. If the result is a true statement, shade in the half-plane bounded by the dashed line graph and containing the test point. Otherwise, shade the other half-plane.
