There are two ways you can do this.
First way:
Set y=0 in your equation
3x%2B5%280%29=30
3x=30
x=10
Second way:
Graph it and see where it crosses the x-axis
graph%28400%2C400%2C-10%2C10%2C-10%2C10%2C%28-3%2F5%29x%2B6%29
Both ways, you end with (10,0).
