You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To find the x-intercept, set y=0 and solve for x.
-x+%2B+4y+=+8
-x=8
x=-8
(-8,0)

Hi,
-x + 4y = 8
y = x/4 + 2
x = 0
y = 0 + 2 = 2
Pt(0,2) on the line
y = x/4 + 2
y = 0
0 = x/4 + 2
-2 = x/4
-8 = x
Pt(-8,0) on the line
Using Pt(0,2)and Pt(-8,0)to graph the line
