You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=%28-2%2F3%29x%2B5 In the formula y=mx+b m=slope.
SO in this equation (-2/3) is the slope.
the x-intercept is where y=0 so plug 0 in for y. and solve for x.
0=%28-2%2F3%29x%2B5
%282%2F3%29x=5
2x=15
x=15%2F2 So the x intercept is (15/2,0)
The y-intercept is where x=0 so plug in 0 for x and solve for y.
y=%28-2%2F3%29%280%29%2B5
y=5 So the y intercept is (0,5)
