You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope is change in y over change in x.
Starting at (3,-1) if I move 1 unit in x, I move 2 units in y.
(3,-1)+(1,2)=(3%2B1,-1%2B2)=(4,1)
Another point on the line is (4,1).
Plot those two points and connect them with the line.

Hi,
Using the standard slope intercept form
y = 2x + b
solving for b by using Pt(3,-1)
-1 = 6 + b
-7 = b
y = 2x -7 would be the equation for this line
Knowing Pt(3,-1)& the slope of (2/1) tells us Pt(4,1) and Pt (2,-3)
are on the line for ex
