You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi,
In general the equation of a line is:
y = m*x + b where m is the slope of the line and b the y intercept.
. slope is 1/3 and y intercept is 0.
.
Slope is the change in y value divided by the change in x value.
slope = 1/3 tells us as y increases 1, x increases 3.
We know (0,0) is a point on the line.
(3,1) is another point on the line.
