You can't solve it because there are 2 unknowns.
If there were 1 unknown, you could solve it. You
can get either x or y alone on one side,
however. I'll find y in terms of x
2y+%2B+6+%3E+-2x
Subtract 6 from both sides
2y+%3E+-2x+-+6
y+%3E+-x+-+3
To simplify, divide both sides by -1, and
change the > sign to a < sign.
y+%3C+x+%2B+3
