Question 308097: i need to find x and y-intercepts for:
x+y=10
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Given x+y=10
To find the x-intercept, let y=0, and you get x=10.
To find the y-intercept, let x=0, and you get y=10.

See also the "MATH IN LIVING COLOR" pages that go with this explanation, where the exercises are solved IN COLOR! My students always told me that my explanations were "easier to understand than the book." Perhaps they will be easier for you also.
