SOLUTION: So lets say I have the equation:
y = -8 - 4
How do I graph that? I get that the y-intercept is 4, but how do I do x? Please explain what I do and why I do it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Without an x value you only have:
y = -8 - 4
y=-12 which is a y intercept=-12 and a horizontal line through that point. (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -15 to 10, y = -12).
