8x-10t+16x +10t= 24

6x + 10t = -8 ----- (ii)
8x - 10t = 36 ----- (iii) ---- Multiplying eq (i) by 2

14x = 28 ---- adding eqs (ii) & (iii)

x = highlight_green%282%29

Substituting 2 for x in eq (i), we get: 8 - 5t = 18

-5t = 10

t = 10%2F-5 = highlight_green%28-2%29
