You can put this solution on YOUR website! I have done Lessons on graphing linear equations and also on graphing inequalities. Look at both of those. They have good examples.
plot y=x-3 first...straight line. You should be able to do that, if you are working on inequalities,
Once you have the line... which defines where y EQUALS x-3, you have to find te region where y is LESS THAN x-3. Just looking at the graph... is it the region above or below the line? From common sense?
