You can put this solution on YOUR website! Y=mX+b [Where m=slope & b=the Y intercept.]
x-y=3
-y=-x+3
y=x-3 this line has a slope=1 & a Y intercept of -3. (red line)
x-2y=3
-2y=-x+3
y=-x/-2+3/-2
y=x/2-1.5 this line has a slope=1/2 & a Y intercept of -1.5 (green line) (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions x -3 and x/2 -1.5).
