y+x=14 is a linear equation.
there are no exponents (squares, cubes etc) and there are two variables(x and y)
so solve for x and y intercepts.
when x=0 y=14
when y=0 then x=14
get out your graph paper
plot those two points and connect the two points with a straight line.
