You can put this solution on YOUR website!
transform to slope intercept form:

       2x + 5y = 15
      -2x       -2x
     ---------------
            5y = 15 - 2x

Write the second term first on the right:

            5y = -2x + 15

Divide every number by 5

           5%2F5y = -2%2F5x + 15%2F5

Simplify:
                         3
          cross%285%29%2Fcross%285%29y = -2%2F5x + cross%2815%29%2Fcross%285%29

            y = -2%2F5x + 3

That's the slope-intercept form,

            y = mx + b

where the slope is m, which equals -2%2F5, and
the y-coordinate of the y-intercept is b, which equals 3.
That means the y-intercept is the point (0,3).
