In order to "undo" multiplying by -2/3, multiply both sides of the equation by the reciprocal of -2/3, which is -3/2.

%28-3%2F2%29%2A%28-2%2F3%29t=%28-3%2F2%29%2A16

Divide out the 2 into 16, which leaves 8 in the numerator.

t=-3%2A8=-24
