You can put this solution on YOUR website! -3x<-9 or 2x>6x-4. This is a disjunction.
The first step is to solve the one on the left...
so divide by three, to find x.
-3x<-9 divide by three. X>3. The < sign switches to > because you are dividing by a negative number.
The second one... 2x>6x-4. Subtract 6x from both sides.
2x-6x=-4. So now there is -4x>-4. Divide and the answer is x<1.
Then make a number line... and plot the two points. Using open circles. One on 3, with an arrow pointing towards all of the greater numbers, and an open circle on 1 with all of the numbers less than it.
