You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph the line (2,3) with 1/2 slope.

Step 1. No Point-Slope equation given as

m+=+%28y-y1%29%2F%28x-x1%29 where x1=2 and y1=3 and m=1%2F2

Step 2. Substituting above values yields,

1%2F2+=+%28y-3%29%2F%28x-2%29

Step 3. Multiply by 2%28x-2%29 to both sides of equation to get rid of denominator.

2%28x-2%29%2F2+=+2%28x-2%29%28y-3%29%2F%28x-2%29

x-2+=+2%28y-3%29

x-2+=+2y-3

Step 4. Now add 2-2y to both sides of equation to get in standard form: Ax+By=C where A, B, and C are constants.

x-2%2B2-2y+=+2y-3%2B2-2y

x-2y+=+-1
OR rewritten in slope-intercept form yields

y=%28x-2%29%2F2%2B3=x%2F2-1%2B3=x%2F2%2B2

graph%28300%2C300%2C-5%2C5%2C-5%2C5%2C+x%2F2%2B2%29

I hope the above steps were useful.
