Question 210737: Evaluate the logarithmic equation for three values of x that are greater than 1, three values of x that are between 0 and 1, and at x=1. Show your work. Use the resulting ordered pairs to plot the graph; submit the graph via the Dropbox. State the equation of the line asymptotic to the graph (if any).

y= log5x

I came up with these general numbers, not sure if they would work or exactly how to graph it.
(125, 3)
(25, 2)
(5, 1)
(1, 0)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First of all, the problem asks you to find y for 7 values of x. You can use your calculator to come up with these, I will do a few for you:
y=log5x
@x=0.1:
y=log%285%2A0.1%29
y=log%280.5%29
highlight%28y=-0.3%29
Similarly for other values
@x=1, y=0.7
@x=2, y=1
@x=3, y-1.18
etc.
Once you have calculated y for all 7 values of x that they ask for, just plot the points on a graph and connect them.
