You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Given:system%28y-2x=0red%28%28EQN1%29%29%2C3x%2B7y=17%28red%28EQN2%29%29%29
In red%28EQN1%29 we get,
y-2x=0 ---> y=2x, subst. this in red%28EQN2%29

3x%2B7%28highlight%282x%29%29=17
3x%2B14x=17 ----> 17x=17 ----> cross%2817%29x%2Fcross%2817%29=cross%2817%291%2Fcross%2817%291
red%28x=1%29, subst. in red%28EQN1%29

y-2%28highlight%281%29%29=0----> y-2=0 ----> red%28y=2%29

These two lines intersect at point (1,2).

----> red%28RED=EQN1%29; green%28GREEN=EQN2%29

Thank you,
