You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Given: Slope=m%5B1%5D=2%2F5
a) what is the slope of the line paralle to it?
Answer: remember for parallel lines; m%5B1%5D=m%5B2%5D=highlight%282%2F5%29, the same slope
(b) what is the slope of the line perpendicular to it
Answer: Remember for perpendicular lines: m%5B2%5D=-1%2Fm%5B1%5D, it's the negative reciprocal: m%5B2%5D=-1%2F%282%2F5%29=highlight%28-5%2F2%29
