You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The general equation of a line is y-mx+c
we know the slope of the line
y=-2x+c
Plug in the point
4=(-2)(-2)+c
4=4 +c
subtract 4 from both sides
c=0
the equation of the line is y=-2x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
use point slope formula which is y-k=m(x-h) where m is the slope and (h,k) is a point on the line.
:
y-4=-2(x-(-2))
:
y-4=-2x-4
