You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The straight-line equation in the slope-intercept
form is y+=+mx+%2B+b, where
m= slope
b= the y-intercept
--------------
The problem gives
m+=+6%2F7
and the line passes through (6, -3)
If I plug in the value for slope,
y+=+%286%2F7%29%2Ax+%2B+b
Since (6,-3) is a solution for the equation, I can say
-3+=+%286%2F7%29%2A6+%2B+b
Multiply both sides by 7
-21+=+36+%2B+7b
7b+=+-21+-36
7b+=+-57
b+=+-%2857%2F7%29
y+=+%286%2F7%29%2Ax+-+%2857%2F7%29
Multiply both sides by 7
7y+=+6x+-+57 answer
check:
Does it pass through (6,-3)?
7%2A%28-3%29+=+6%2A6+-+57
-21+=+36+-+57
-21+=+-21
OK

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=mX+b
-3=6/7*6+b
-3=36/7+b
b=-3-36/7
b=(-3*7-36)/7
b=(-21-36)/7
b=-57/7 the y intercept.
y=6x/7-57/7 ans.
