You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perpendicular lines have slopes that are negative reciprocals of each other.
The slope of the first line is
m%5B1%5D=-2%2F3
Then
m%5B1%5Dm%5B2%5D=-1
-%282%2F3%29m%5B2%5D=-1
m%5B2%5D=3%2F2
Now we have the slope of the second line and a point on the line.
Use the point-slope form of a line.
y-y%5Bp%5D=m%28x-x%5Bp%5D%29
y-%28-3%29=%283%2F2%29%28x-%28-5%29%29
y%2B3=%283%2F2%29%28x%2B5%29
Multiply both sides by 2 and distribute,
2y%2B6=3x%2B15
-3x%2B2y=11
