Ordered pair formation is just (x,y). So just plug in the values you have been given. For the first one, plug in the x value 3 in the equation and get 9-3=y. So y there would be 6. Then plug both values into the format and get (3,6). For the second one you are given y as 1. So plug y back into the equation and get -4x=3%280%29%2B8. Or in other "words", -4x=8. Divide each side by 4 and get x=-2. Again, plug the values you found into the format (x,y). You should come out with (-2,1).
