Question 145243: Could I please have some help on a systems of equations problem? This one needs to be solved by the Graphing method.
3x + y = -6
x + y = -4

You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3x + y = -6
x + y = -4
Since these equations are in standard form, I recommend you use the two intercept method to solve the system.
3x + y = -6
If x=0, then y=-6
If y=0, then x=-2.
x + y = -4
If x=0, then y=-4
If y=0, then x=-4.
It should look like this:
It looks like the graphs cross at x=-1 and y=-3. In fact, they DO!!
