%28x-2%29%5E2=4 Divide both sides by 3


x-2=0%2B-sqrt%284%29 Take the square root of both sides


x-2=2 or x-2=-2 Take the square root of 4 to get 2 or -2


x=4 or x=0 Solve for x


So our answers are x=4 or x=0
