Question 132888: Could someone explain to me how you know aif a graph is a function.
here are three points to work with.
(-4,9) (2,2) (8,8)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Since for each x there is one output, this means that this graph is a function. If we had the set of points
(-4,9) (2,2) (8,8) (2,5)
then it would not be a function since when x=2, then y=2 and 5 which is not possible for a function.
