Question 129503: What is c-intercept?
Answer by ilana(307) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! c-intercept is where the graph hits the c-axis. Usually we use an x-axis and a y-axis, but sometimes, especially in word problems, the labels of the axes change. This seems like it might be a function about cost, so they would call the cost c. If the equation is c=3x+2, or something like that, then c is the vertical axis. If the equation looks like y=3c+2, then c is the horizontal axis. More details might help me clarify this if necessary. Good luck!
