The four lived to the following ages: 17, 19, 20, 21. At a .05 significance level, can the biologists claim that dolphins living in captivity have a shorter life span than dolphins at sea?

With such a small sample we may have failed to detect a real change
in the average life-span of dolphins. That is a Type II error of
failing to reject Ho when it fact it is false.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I cant seem to completely solve this equation.
2x+y=3
7x+5y=21

It can be solved by graphing, substitution or elimination.

The 1st equation is "simple" so using substitution you
would get:
y = -2x+3
Substitute that into the 2nd equation to get:
7x + 5(-2x+3) = 21
Solve for "x":
7x -10x + 15 = 21
-3x = 6
x = -2
----------
Substitute that into y = -2x+3 to solve for "y":
y = -2(-2)+3
y = 7
==========
Final solution: x = -2, y=7
