Question 1145754: I'm having trouble with this problem:
Given the functions f(x) = x^2+2x-1 and g(x)=5(x-2)+7
Find the values of f(2) and g(2)
What does this tell us about the system of equations at x=2?
I got that f(2)=7 and g(2)=12
I know how to graph the linear equation g(x)-5(x-2)+7
I'm having a difficult time graphing the quadratic equation and how to answer the last question. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
g%282%29=7

f%282%29=g%282%29=7
Parabola f and line g intersect at (2,7).
