As you can see from the graph of 4x³ = 27y²,



the only line that is tangent to the curve and also
normal to the curve is the x-axis.  The x-axis has
equation y = 0 and has slope 0, which is none of
the given answers.  Is there a mistake in copying 
something?  If so tell me about it in the note form
below and I'll get back to you by email.

Edwin / Alan,

the meaning of this assignment is  (as I understand it)  that the straight line should be tangent to one branch

of the plot  (see  Edwin's graph)  and  AT  THE  SAME  TIME  be a normal to the other branch.


I myself will not work on it  (since I do not see nothing attractive/interesting/educational in it).
