You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=7/4x - 1/8 -->multiply thru by 8
8(y=7/4x-1/8)
8y=14x-1 -->move x to the left side
-14x+8y=-1

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y+=+%287%2F4%29x++-+1%2F8
subtract (7/4)x from both sides
-%287%2F4%29x+%2B+y+=+-%281%2F8%29
multiply both sides by 4
-7x+%2B+4y+=+-%281%2F2%29
multiply both sides by 2
-14x+%2B+8y+=+-1
