Question 1123076: Another question for you amazing men and women.
If asked to graph a linear function by finding x & y intercepts, how is this to be completed?
Using this equation 4𝑥=6𝑦+2
I did a table of values. Is this correct?
Note- I was told not to use y=mx+b to complete this question.
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The equation is a straight line
The possibilities are:
(1) the line is parallel to the y-axis
(2) the line is parallel to the x-axis
(3) the line intersects both x and y axes
(4) the line goes through the origin
—————————————-
+4x+=+6y+%2B+2+
At the x-intercept, +y+=+0+
At the y-intercept, +x+=+0+
——————————————-
X-intercept:
+4x+=+6%2A0+%2B+2+
+4x+=+2+
+x+=+1%2F2+
( 1/2, 0 )
—————————-
Y-intercept:
+4%2A0+=+6y+%2B+2+
+6y+=+-2+
+y+=+-1%2F3+
( 0, -1/3 )
