The intersection set is the set of elements that are in BOTH of the sets. The only element that is in both B and F is 4, so the intersection is the set with the single element 4.

The union set is the set of elements that are in EITHER or BOTH of the sets. List all of the elements of F, then add any elements of B that aren't already in F. The new list is the elements of the union set.
