Your equation is great. It's in the form y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.
The first point we draw is (0,2), it's on the Y axis, note that on the Y axis, X is zero. Next we look at the slope, -2. Slope is thought or as "rise over run" so in this case we go down 2 and right 1. We land on (1,0) and draw that second point. A nice straightedge, and draw the rest of your line.
