Solve the following exponential equation by expressing each side as a power of the same base and then equating exponents
25^x^=^5=625^x^-^2
------------------------------------------------------
25%5E%28x-5%29 = 625%5E%28x-2%29. (1)

Notice that 625 = 25%5E2.

Therefore, (1) become

25%5E%28x-5%29 = 25%5E%282%28x-2%29%29.

Hence,

x-5 = 2*(x-2).

Solve it yourself. It is easy.
