You can put this solution on YOUR website! Step 1) Graph the line y = 1-3x. This is a line with y intercept 1 and slope -3. Two points on this line are (0,1) and (1,-2)
Step 2) Make the line in step 1) a solid line. The line is solid because of the "or equal to" portion of the inequality.
Step 3) Shade below the solid boundary line. We shade below because of the "less than" portion of the inequality. This only works when y is isolated.
