and i really need help cause i have like a 20 in this class because of stupid proofs...

I'll try to help;
A proof is a logical argument to convince someone that a statement is true.
There are steps you will try and follow when proving something,
1. Write information you've been given as true.
2. Write what you need to prove.
3. Draw a diagram and mark given information.
4. Plan how to get from the given to the prove.
5. Add to the diagram if needed
6. Set out logical sequence of statements and reasons beginning with what you know and ending with what you've been asked to prove (postulates, definitions, theorems, etc).
