Question 118278: I really need help putting this into a two column proof.
~ How can i prove that the midpoints of the rhombus ABCD (clockwise from top) form a rectangle MNOP (clockwise from top right hand corner)?
some of it is explained in this website: http://www.mste.uiuc.edu/m2t2/geometry/RHMRECT.HTM
i understand that if i extend B and N to meet, then i can prove that the triangle is congruent and the angles are supplemetary so the angles of the rctangle must be 90 degrees, so it is a rectangle. but what if it is a square? It wil be greatly appreciated if you can put this into a two column proof for me!! THANK YOU!! Answer by MathLover1(20850) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what if it is a square?
it could NOT be a square...
reason:
The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other, but the of the two diagonals for a rhombus are
