Question 1039468: Statement: Angle 1 approx. = Angle 2 Reason: Given
•Statement: Angle 2 approx. = Angle 5 Reason:_______
•Statement:________________ Reason: Transitive Property of Angle Congruence
•Statement: m Angle 1 = m Angle 5 Reason: ________
If m Angle 1 =60 degrees, then m Angle 3+ m Angle 5= ______?
In the places I put the word "Angle" there is an angle sign, the one that looks like this: < My keyboard doesn't have this symbol so I use the word "Angle" to substitute. There is a picture to go along with it but I don't know how to attach it. I can send through email when I get a response.(: Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
You can't do a proof where you are given that angles are "approximately" equal.
I suspect you mean that the angles are congruent which is to say the statement says Đ1 @ Đ2 which would appropriately be rendered in plain text as "angle 1 congruent to angle 2".
Aside from that, you need to be able to post your diagrams. Hook up with one of the many free image hosting websites such as tinypic.com, imgur.com, postimage.org, or share.pho.to. Once you have your image uploaded, copy and paste the link in the question box here on Algebra.com.
While you are at it, let me recommend Formatting Math as Text for more information about how to communicate math expressions in plain text that everyone understands.
