I know that you set the problem up like this
(f/g)(x)=5x^2-8x/x^2-3x-40

I am not sure if it can be factor or not??

Find the Domain of the function, and identify any horizontal and vertical assymptotes.
I have the following:
Domain: all real numbers???
Horizontal assymptote at x=2
and I used the quadratic formula for the vertical assymptote and found imaginery assymptotes. AThis is where I got Lost!!

I have:
