Question 1034440: Find the domain of the following:
a)f(x) =| 1 − x^2 | + 1
b) f(x) = √9 − x^2
c) f(x) = 2^(4−x^2)
For a is the domain the set of all real numbers because it is absolute? For b I will get √(x+3) (x-3) but then I am not sure what to do given the sqrt. And for c...I have no idea lol it would be 2^ (x+2) (x-2)? but then I'm not sure.

Find the value of a that will make f continuous on (−∞, ∞).
So here is what I did:
lim 4-(-2)^2 = 0
x-> -2
lim 4-(2)^2 = 0
x-> 2
lim 2^3 - 2(2)^2 + a = a?
x-> 2+
Does this make sense? I'm not sure how to do this
