Question 213845: When evaluating functions the function T(x)=5; what would be the answer for
T(3).
For example typically if you had T(x)=5(x); the you could take T(3) and....
You would say T(3)=5(3) in which T(3)=15.

Question 214835: Wondering if I am heading in the right direction. My question is:
Is f(x)=x^1171 - 5x^109 + 3 y-axis symmetric, origin symmetric or neither.
When I plug (-x) into the equation it does not come out to be y-axis symmetric and when I multiple each side by (-1) it does not come out to be origin symmetric. So, my answer is neither.
Am I figuring this out correctly?

Question 215089: The amount of carbon dioxide (in pounds per 15,000 miles) released by a typical SUV depends on its fuel efficiency according to the formula below, where x is the fuel efficiency of an SUV in miles per gallon.
W = 32x2 − 1952x + 42,000 (12 ≤ x ≤ 33)
According to the model, what is the fuel efficiency of the SUV with the least carbon dioxide pollution?

Question 215432: Another one I can't figure out.
y=x^2/(x^2-16) state the domain and range
I figured out the domain (I think):
x^2-16=0
(x-4)(x+4)=0
x=-4 or x=+4
The domain is "all x not equal to -4 or 4". Is that correct?
And I can't find the range, can anybody help?
