Find an exponential model of the form f(t)=A base 0 e^kt for this population, where t is time in years since 2000. I also need help finding K but I think you have to use Ln logarithm but I am not sure.

I got G by doing (x+2)/x(x^2-1) and cancelling out the x's, but the actual answer is F. How do I get F?

Question 1084545: Consider the functions f(x) = sqrt x-1 and g(x) = ax+b. In the standard (x,y) coordinate plane, y = f(g(x)) passes through (0,1) and (2,3). What is the value of a+b?
So far I have f(g(x)) = sqrt (ax+b) -1, slope = 2, y-3 = sqrt(2x-5). Now I don't know what to do or if I am even doing it correctly.
