Question 976130: The number of bacteria in a refrigerated food product is given by N(T)=23T^2 -81 T+50, 3 < T < 33 where T is the temperature of the food.
When the food is removed from the refrigerator, the temperature is given by T(t) = 9 t + 1.5 , where t is the time in hours.
i found N(T(t))= 23(9t+1.5)^2-81(9t+1.5)+50 so now they ask...Find the time when the bacteria count reaches 11123 (Give your answer to at least 3 decimal places)? I'm unable to get that correct answer?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

What did you get when you squared the binomial, distributed the coefficients, and collected like terms?

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
