  • Multiply one of your fractions by -1/-1 (since this is a 1, we are not really changing anything other than the appearance).
  • If the multiplied fraction works out the same as the other fraction, then they are, and were, the same!

P.S. Please put numerators and denominators in parentheses:
(3x-2)/(1-x) and (-3x+2)/(-1+x)
What you posted actually meant:
3x-2%2F1-x and -3x%2B2%2F-1%2Bx
