A. {(-4, 3), (-4, 2), (1, 9), (6, 7)}
B. {(-4, 3), (-2, 0), (2, 7), (3, 9)}
C. {(2, 1), (4, 2), (2, 3), (8, 4)}
D. {(0, 0), (0, 1), (2, 3), (4, 5)}

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A function cannot contain two ordered pairs with the same first coordinate.
A. {(-4, 3), (-4, 2), (1, 9), (6, 7)}
This is not a function because (-4,3) and (-4,2) are
two ordered pairs with the same first coordinate -4.
B. {(-4, 3), (-2, 0), (2, 7), (3, 9)}
This is a function because all the ordered pairs
have different first coordinates.
C. {(2, 1), (4, 2), (2, 3), (8, 4)}
This is not a function because (2,1) and (2,3) are
two ordered pairs with the same fi1st coordinate 2.
D. {(0, 0), (0, 1), (2, 3), (4, 5)}
This is not a function because (0,0) and (0,1) are
two ordered pairs with the same first coordinate 0.
