Question 727059: CONFUSED HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED
.Sketch graph of f-1, givin the graph (-4,3)(0,3) (2,-1) (4,1)
b)If the graph isn`t a inverse function, then restrict the domain of the original relation SO the inverse a function.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.Sketch graph of f-1, givin the graph (-4,3)(0,3) (2,-1) (4,1)
-----
Procedure:
Switch the x and y values to get: (3,-4)(3,0)(-1,2)(1,4)
-------------------------------------
b)If the graph isn`t a inverse function, then restrict the domain of the
original relation SO the inverse a function.
----
It is not a function because x = 3 has 2 y-values.
------
Restrict the domain of the original function by eliminating 0 or -4
from it's domain so the inverse will be a function.
